The Texas voter registration deadline is October 7th!
Greg Abbott purged over a million voters from the voter rolls and put many more in suspense. It is critical that voters check their registration status. Let’s not let Greg Abbott disenfranchise any of our friends or neighbors! Please help by checking who is in suspense via the Reach app (Blue Action Texas campaign). It’s so easy, quick, and can be done from your couch! Contact TC Dems leadership to learn how to get onto Reach, or attend Reach trainings . Also, if you load your contacts to the app and cannot find someone on the voter rolls, they may not be registered. You can help them get registered!
Here are voter registration resources you can use to help:
Link to change voter registration address (if voter moved within Texas; this can be done entirely online)Links to register to voteNote you cannot register to vote completely online in Texas. They can fill out a form online then print and mail it OR request that a form be mailed to them for them to then fill out and mail back. Voter registration applications can also be found at public libraries and tax offices, and our TC Dems VDRs have them too. Applications mailed must be postmarked by October 7th.Our neighborhood VDRs are here to help register those in Travis Country! Susan Holland is our voter registration lead.
